LIFE OF HOMO SAPIENS
As I was ransacking
compartments of life to find a subject interesting enough to write, my friends
made it easy for me to chose the topic by taking me for a movie. Yes, I enjoyed life of Pi:Piscine Molitor
Patel & 12.12.12 became memorable. Though the movie takes its audience on a roller- coaster ride filled with
incomparable beauty & imagination I found realities of life hidden in every
nook & corner of Pi's journey.
Pi's journey with a
tiger reminds of our journey of life with fears & challenges that enables
one to reach his destination. We look at challenges as problems & fail to
realize that they keep us alive. Life without challenges is like salt-less
cuisine. Unless you add a pinch of salt you cannot enjoy the feast.
Pi's never-ending
hope & infinite courage for survival inspires to lead a optimistic life. A
saying goes,"Life is not a bed of roses." But comfort doesn't create
champions. Achievement in life could be celebrated when we struggle &
put in efforts for it. And that is the way how dreams are translated into reality.
One important message
given through the story is don't take any person in your life for
granted. Ultimately life is a journey with your passion. Family,Teacher & friends are
your chief source of support. The more passionate you are towards achieving your dreams the more
smoother is the journey.
The story makes you
believe that God is the most powerful entity & when He wants you to win, you
will survive in diverse complications of life just like a lotus flower in full bloom, even in a muddy pond, beautiful and strong.
Let's embark on journey of life with Pi's journey in mind & fulfill our dreams & desires.
